Ronna McDaniel Re-Elected RNC Chair

Objectivity 4.8 | Credibility 4.8 | Relevance 4.6

Ronna McDaniel has won an unprecedented 4th-term as the Republican National Committee Chair staving off challenges from California committee member Harmeet Dhillon and MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell.  McDaniel easily took the majority winning 111 votes of the 168 RNC members.  Following her win, McDaniel said, “The work to make Joe Biden a one-term president is already underway: it is time for our party to unite and re-dedicate ourselves to electing Republicans up and down the ballot.” President Trump, the only declared candidate in the 2024 presidential election, remained neutral in the RNC election while Florida Governor Ron DeSantis endorsed Harmeet Dhillon.
