A 4.2 magnitude earthquake has been reported in Southern California near Malibu Beach. The quake was followed by a series of aftershocks ranging from 3.5 to 2.6. The Los Angeles Fire Department conducted a wide-area survey and found no damage or injuries caused the earthquake.
