California has had three mass killings in the last eight days. While the state was still reeling from an attack on a Lunar New Year celebration in Monterey Park that killed 11, a gunman killed seven people at two agricultural businesses in Northern California. The third incident occurred on the outskirts of Half Moon Bay, a city about 30 miles south of San Francisco. This year, six shootings have taken place in the U.S. accounting for 39 deaths.
