In San Antonio, Texas, Devine Middle School teacher and coach Jacob Sanchez, age 35, collapsed suddenly in front of his students and died recently. It was reported that his death was caused by a heart attack. “He would do anything for the kids. There will be a big void in our hearts. Pray for his family, our kids, and our community. RIP Jacob,” said Devine Middle School principal Kandi Darnell. Darnell had spoken to Sanchez shortly before the incident and she said “he seemed fine.” The community is mourning the loss of a friend to many and a role model for their children.
