A Catholic Diocese in Des Moines, Iowa, has released a new document recognizing the Bible and basic science as the basis for seven policies he has outlined to navigate so-called “gender identity.” The new policy which is “”committed to respect for human dignity while honoring God’s creation” emerged after the Diocese of Des Moines spent two years prayerfully considering how to deal with those suffering from gender dysphoria. “The mystery of human sexuality as a key component of personal identity is received as a gift created by God that we are not authorized to seek to change” the document reads.
