World Health Organization Presses China to Monitor Covid Deaths

Objectivity 4.3 | Credibility 4.7 | Relevance 4.6

The World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended that China monitor increasing mortality from COVID-19.  “WHO recommends the monitoring of excess mortality, which provides us with a more comprehensive understanding of the impact of COVID-19,” the U.N. agency said.  This comes after China reported nearly 60,000 new deaths since it abandoned its zero-COVID policy last month.
