Objectivity 4.7 | Credibility 4.7 | Relevance 4.2

Peruvians protesting against the current administration have encountered extreme political violence under President Dina Boluarte, former vice-president and successor to former president Pedro Castillo.  Castillo was arrested on rebellion charges and removed from office after his attempt to dissolve congress and avoid a third impeachment trial.  “Let there be no more deaths, let his be the last” Lisbeth Candia said of Remo Candia, her brother who was fatally shot by Peruvian security forces for protesting against the government.
