Two more people have been executed by hanging by the Iranian government in connection with the ongoing protests since the death of Mahsa Amini in September. A Revolutionary Court found the men guilty of “corruption on Earth” over the alleged slaying of a member of Iran’s paramilitary police force.  The Human Rights Activists’ News Agency (HRANA) estimates that 111 people are under death sentences.  HRANA also estimates more than 500 people have been killed and almost 20,000 have been arrested. Some of the latest protests have been outside Rajai Shahr jail in the city of Karaj where two more people are being prepared to be executed. A video on Twitter purported to be from outside the prison shows a crowd chanting, “Until Mullahs are removed, This motherland will not be ours.”
