A few years back, while worshipping with friends, I saw a wave rise out of the concrete ground. It grew and grew and became a huge tsunami. As I watched, I knew this had to do with the underground church in China, their prayers rising to the surface, and an enormous wave of many people forming. I didn’t realize then what we know today concerning Hong Kong and the underground church. If we are purposeful in prayer and fasting, I believe mainland China and its youth will join that wave.
I keep hearing in my spirit: “Gorbachev, tear down this wall!†The Lord has heard their prayers, and they have come up to the surface. We must all join in unified prayer with our brothers and sisters in Christ for China to be free from its oppression. It is my strong belief that if we pray and fast, the gates of hell will no longer prevail against them and the Lord Himself, through us, will command Satan to, “TEAR DOWN THIS WALL!â€
The people of China and Iran have had enough of bondage and control, including a core group of young people. Their leaders’ tyranny and spying have backfired and brought news of protests around the globe, igniting a new fire. They will “not love their lives unto death,” but will lay hold of the freedom in Christ that was granted to them (see Revelation 12:10-11).

Pray that righteous leaders shall arise and lead China out of communism and into a season of reform.
Pray for the strengthening, empowerment, and growth of the underground Church in China.
