On Thursday following his first appearance in Manhattan federal court, FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) is set to be released on a $250 million bond and placed under house arrest at his parent’s home in California.  U.S. District Judge Gabriel Gorenstein signed off on the deal.  The accused fraudster voluntarily left the Bahamas facing multiple charges which carry a combined sentence of 115 years in prison.  SBF was represented by lawyers Christian Everdell and Mark Cohen, who also represented sex-offender Ghislaine Maxwell earlier this year.
