Americans Name Government as Nation’s Top Problem in 2022: Poll

Americans have named the U.S. government as the nation’s top problem for the seventh year in the past decade, according to a new Gallup poll published on Tuesday. The poll shows that 19 percent of respondents consider the government as the most important problem the nation is facing this year. The respondents list the high cost of living or inflation (16%) and the economy in general (12%) as their concerns following the government. Further down the list, immigration, unifying the country, COVID-19, race relations and crime are named.
