The House Committee on Ethics released a statement on Wednesday that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), also known as AOC, is under investigation, of which the details have not been disclosed. The inquiry into AOC was forwarded to the House Committee by the Office of Congressional Ethics, a nonpartisan group, in June. The Ethics Committee has decided to “extend the matter” and will announce the course of action at the next Congress sometime in 2023.
