Ukrainian drone attacks on Tuesday hit an airbase in Russia’s southern Kursk region in the second day of drone strikes on Russian military bases. The Ukrainian government did not officially confirm its drone attacks inside Russia. Britain’s Defense Ministry said Russia would consider the attacks as “some of the most strategically significant failures of force protection since its invasion of Ukraine.†Russian spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said the Russian government will “take the necessary measures†to bolster security of key facilities.
