Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines warned that parents should be concerned about risks to their kids’ data privacy on TikTok, one of the most vibrant social media platforms among younger generations, owned by the Chinese company ByteDance. During an interview with NBC’s Andrea Mitchell, Haines said it is “extraordinary†to see how skillful the Chinese government is at “collecting foreign data†and turning around and using it for various means.
