House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy vowed Sunday the national defense bill will not move forward unless the military’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate is repealed, during an interview with host Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures.” McCarthy addressed the issue with the Biden Administration last week, according to the interview, and he “laid out very clearly what the difference will be with the new Republican majority.” On Saturday, the White House said the Biden administration was considering ending the military’s vaccine mandate after meeting with McCarthy.
