Fashion house Balenciaga recently released a controversial ad campaign with photos of children holding teddy bears dressed in bondage outfits and a desk strewn with papers that included a child pornography court ruling. On Friday Balenciaga filed a $25 million lawsuit against North Six and Des Jardins, the producers of the ad, for including the legal documents from a U.S. Supreme Court decision on child porn laws in one of the photos. The Manhattan Supreme Court summons alleges that Balenciaga is bringing the case “to seek redress for extensive damages defendants caused in connection with an advertising campaign Balenciaga hired them to produce.â€
