Objectivity 4.7 | Credibility 4.8 | Relevance 4.8

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced that his country will ratify membership for Sweden and Finland to NATO during the next parliamentary session in January 2023. The announcement came during a meeting of the prime ministers of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.  There has been speculation that Hungary delayed ratification as a bargaining chip so that the EU would release billions of EU dollars which have been frozen due to concern of the misuse of EU funds within Hungary.
