Veteran Rich Fierro helped to disarm the 22-year-old gunman who opened gunfire in Club Q, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Fierro was visiting the club with friends and family. When the shooting began, his military instinct prompted him to act. He said, “It’s the reflex. Go! Go to the fire. Stop the action. Stop the activity. Don’t let no one get hurt.†Colorado Springs Police Chief Adrian Vasquez said, “I have never encountered a person who had engaged in such heroic actions who was so humble about it.â€
