Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht has offered to share Germany’s Patriot Missile Defense System with Poland. The offer comes after last week’s incident in which two people were killed by what is believed to have been a stray Ukrainian air defense missile crashing in Poland. Lambrecht told German newspapers, “We have offered Poland support in securing airspace—with our Eurofighters and with Patriot air defense systems.” Germany currently has 12 Patriot units.
