The Pennsylvania House of Representatives voted to impeach Philadelphia District Attorney Democrat Larry Krasner. Five House members established a committee investigating policies Krasner had implemented, such as lax bail policies and reduced prosecutions for particular crimes, which have exponentially increased the city’s crime rate. “We put ourselves on the record that we stand with the people of Philadelphia who have been living in fear for their lives and the safety of themselves and their families” PA House Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff said in a statement.
