A 5.6-magnitude earthquake on Monday struck Indonesia’s West Java province, leaving at least 162 people dead and 326 injured, according to West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil. “There are still many residents trapped at the incident sites, we assume that the injured and dead victims will continue to increase over time” Kamil said. The local office of the National Agency for Disaster Management (BNPB) reported that 4 schools and 52 houses collapsed or were severely damaged.
