Arizona’s Attorney General Demands Answers on Election Irregularities in Maricopa

Arizona’s attorney general ordered Maricopa County officials to submit a report on the irregularities of the November 8 election, citing evidence of “statutory violations” in the contest.  In the gubernatorial race, Democratic candidate Katie Hobbs apparently won against Republican Kari Lake.  However, the state has not yet officially certified a winner.  Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Wright said the report must be submitted before election results can be properly certified.
