Having gained control of the House, Republicans are proposing an investigation of President Biden. Ian Sams, a spokesman for the White House Counsel’s office, said, “Instead of working with President Biden to address issues important to the American people, like lower costs, congressional Republicans’ top priority is to go after President Biden with politically motivated attacks chock full of long-debunked conspiracy theories.” The investigations are prompted by evidence from Hunter Biden’s laptop and whistleblowers’ testimonies that the Biden family has been involved in “a decade-long pattern of influence peddling, national security risks, and political cover-ups.”
