On Wednesday Republicans won control of the U.S. House after securing the 218th seat needed for the majority. The narrow majority may bring challenges for the GOP; however, they will be leveraged to thwart Biden’s agenda. Since Democrats maintained control of the Senate, emerging legislation from the House will be harder to pass. With the Georgia Senate seat pending the runoff between Walker (R) and Warnock (D-GA), both parties hope for an outcome to boost their standing.
