Objectivity 4.8 | Credibility 4.8 | Relevance 4.9

Kathy Hochul (D-NY) becomes the first female governor of New York after defeating opponent Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) in the 2022 gubernatorial race.  Hochul favors banning guns in New York and is pro-abortion.  Her opponent campaigned on government reform, community development, veterans’ rights, and better education.  The polls showed Hochul in the lead up to Election Day as New York’s demographic is primarily blue.
