GOP megadonor Ken Griffin, the founder and CEO of hedge fund Citadel, said he would support Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) if he decides to seek the presidency in 2024. Griffin, who has spent more than $57 million supporting Republican candidates this election cycle, said in an interview with Politico published on Sunday, “it is time to move on to the next generation” from former President Donald Trump. “He [DeSantis] has a tremendous record as governor of Florida, and our country would be well-served by him as president,” Griffin added.
