COVID-19 ‘More Likely than Not’ Caused by Wuhan Lab ‘Incident’: Senate Report

Objectivity 4.7 | Credibility 4.6 | Relevance 4.8

The minority oversight staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions (HELP) last Thursday released an interim report titled, “An Analysis of the Origins of the COVID-19 Pandemic.” The report claims that the COVID-19 pandemic was “more likely than not, the result of a research-related incident” in Wuhan, China, which is congruous with the early epidemiology revealing “rapid spread of the virus exclusively in Wuhan.” The report concludes, “New information, made publicly available and independently verifiable, could change this assessment.”
