European Leaders Explore New Gas Supply Options in Africa

Leaders of Poland and Germany visited Africa’s western coast searching a new liquefied natural gas project being developed in the region.  The initial field is anticipated to answer Europe’s energy crisis containing about 15 trillion cubic feet, which quintuplicates Germany’s demand in 2019.  “Current world events are demonstrating the vital role that (liquid gas) can play in underpinning the energy security of nations and regions” said Gordon Birrell, an executive for project co-developer BP.
