The European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) confirmed Friday that it has been inquiring into the procurement of COVID vaccines in the European Union (EU), with the task of investigating crime against EU’s economic interest. This confirmation comes after a press conference that four members of the European Parliament had last Tuesday to call for the resignation of Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, due to her suspicious relationship with Pfizer’s CEO, Albert Bourla.
