Objectivity 4.7 | Credibility 4.7 | Relevance 4.8

The Georgia Department of Revenue created a new rule allowing residents to claim a personal tax exemption of $3,000 for each unborn child, known as the LIFE Act – Living Infants Fairness and Equality Act.  The rule acknowledges each unborn person “with a detectable human heartbeat” as a human life.  The policy is being slammed by pro-choice advocates. Elizabeth Reed, Leadership Director of Georgia Life Alliance, hopes the new measure will provide help for struggling expectant mothers.
