As Florida braces for Hurricane Ian, the storm is now picking up speed as it passes over the warm Gulf of Mexico. Currently rated as a Category 4, it is growing with intensity while heading straight for the Tampa area. It may reportedly grow to a Category 5, the most intense form of a hurricane. With over 2.5 million residents evacuating, many hotels and other places of refuge are filling fast. Local evacuee says, “We live in a high risk zone, so we thought it best to evacuate.”.
