U.S. Nuclear Aircraft Carrier Reaches the Korean Peninsula

Objectivity 4.7 | Credibility 4.7 | Relevance 4.5

USS Ronald Reagan, the U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, arrived in South Korea on Friday for the two countries’ joint military exercise amid growing North Korean nuclear threats. The joint drills that include a U.S. nuclear aircraft carrier will be held for the first time in about four years. The Reagan’s arrival in the Korean Peninsula is aimed to give a strong warning to North Korea that recently passed a new nuclear law declaring itself a nuclear weapon state and allowing preemptive nuclear strikes.
