Powerful leaders gathered at the Clinton Global Initiative conference to discuss Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) issues, of which Diversity and Equity inclusion are now part of their framework. Among the leaders were Bill Clinton, Unilever CEO Alan Jope and Blackrock CEO Larry Fink. Jope declared that the “anti-woke backlash” is dangerous, while Clinton and Fink call out ESG opponents as “climate change deniers.”
