Former Attorney General Bill Barr has condemned the lawsuit filed by New York AG Letitia James against President Donald Trump and his three adult children as an “abuse of office” and a “political hit job.” The lawsuit filed September 21st, claims that the Trump Organization deceived business partners and government officials by inflating the value of his assets. The lawsuit seeks damages of $250 million and the banning of Trump and his children serving as officers in any company based in New York as well as stopping the Trump Organization from buying real estate in New York for 5 years.
