Few American Voters Confident In Biden’s Economy

Objectivity 4.8 | Credibility 4.8 | Relevance 4.9

A new Quinnipiac poll reveals that just 1% of registered voters in the U.S. believe that the economy is “excellent” under Joe Biden.  The poll also shows that 58% of Americans disapprove of the Biden Administration’s handling of the economy overall. The poll comes shortly after the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) published figures revealing that the U.S. economy has contracted for two consecutive quarters, meeting the basic definition of a recession. Various economists interpret the figures differently using terms ranging from “mild downturn” to “severe recession.”
