Republican Leaders are calling on the Department of Justice to release information on its Monday raid at former President Trump’s Mar-A-Lago home. “The country deserves a thorough and immediate explanation of what led to the events of Monday,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said. “Attorney General Garland and the Department of Justice should already have provided answers to the American people and must do so immediately.” The DOJ usually does not reveal details on current investigations, and it has remained silent regarding the raid.
