According to the White House, Iran is providing “hundreds” of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including armed drones, to Russia for the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said, “Our information indicates that the Iranian government is preparing to provide Russia with up to several hundred UAVs, including weapons-capable UAVs on an expedited timeline.” This revelation comes as Biden is set to travel to Israel and Saudi Arabia to discuss Iran’s nuclear program and malign their activities in the region.
