Overworked Catholic Exorcists in Rome Seek Support

The London Times reported that Catholic exorcists in a Rome university are overwhelmed by long lines of demon-possessed people. At the 16th annual exorcism course at Regina Apostolorum in Rome, Italian exorcists told researchers they need more support from psychologists to discern mental illness from demonic possession.  Researchers said, “Many of the potentially possessed people they see in Spain have spent time with New Age, spiritual or meditation groups.”
