The Kentucky legislature has voted to override Gov. Andy Beshear’s veto on Senate Bill 83, a bill that bans biological boys who identify as girls from participating in girls’ sports. State senator Robby Mills said, “This is a huge win for the integrity of women’s sports and with the inevitable enactment of Senate Bill 83 into law.” The bill included an emergency clause, meaning it is now law in Kentucky.
