Impending Food Shortage as a Result of Russian Sanctions

As sanctions are imposed on Russia, a food shortage is “gonna be real,” Biden warns in a press conference at the NATO summit on Thursday, despite previous statement by White House Press Secretary, Jen Psaki, “we’re not expecting a food shortage here at home.”  The global wheat supply from Russia and Ukraine comprises 25%, which is not directly exported to the US, but a strain in supply is expected with their absence in the global market.
