India and Russia Work Together to Bypass U.S. Dollar

According to The Times of India, the Indian government is developing the means to facilitate direct trade with Russia using the local currencies of the two countries and forgo all use of the U.S. dollar. Russia has told the country it is looking for alternative suppliers for a wide range of goods after its access to western markets was cut off by the sanctions imposed by the United States and the European Union.
