Republicans Slam Biden for Asking Venezuelan Dictator to Help Solve U.S. Energy Shortage

Republican leaders criticized the Biden Administration after U.S. officials met with Venezuelan Dictator Nicolás Maduro. Biden is seeking to separate Venezuela from Russia and fill the U.S. gaps in energy supply caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio said, “Rather than produce more American oil he [Biden] wants to replace the oil we buy from one murderous dictator with oil from another murderous dictator.”
