A convoy of an estimated 50,000 trucks flooded Ottawa, Ontario Saturday, in protest of Canada’s Covid mandates. Thousands of protesters joined the truckers despite subzero temperatures. The rally caused Ottawa’s downtown core to come to a complete standstill, and police said there was no more room for vehicles. Some truckers said they plan on continuing their protest against the mandates and will sleep in their trucks. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was transported to a secret location early Saturday morning for security reasons.
