Objectivity 4.0 | Credibility 4.7 | Relevance 4.9

A new law proposed in South Carolina would ban any public, private, or non-profit entity from asking about the vaccination status of anyone seeking admission on the entity’s premises. Upon conviction, one could be fined fourteen thousand dollars or imprisoned for one year, or both. Republican state Rep. Mike Burns, co-sponsor of the Don’t Ask bill, said liberty cannot be infringed even amid the fight against COVID-19.
