According to the New York Times, Biden met with senior Pentagon officials at Camp David to discuss a Russian invasion of Ukraine. Officials reportedly told Biden his military options were deploying several thousand U.S. troops, as well as warships and aircraft, to NATO allies in the Baltics and Eastern Europe hopefully, to deter Russia. This comes as diplomatic conversations between Washington and Moscow appear to be at a deadlock.
