U.S. Navy commander Lucian Kins was released from his executive officer position of the USS Winston Churchill warship because he refused to take the COVID vaccine. Navy Capt. Ken Anderson, the one who fired the second in command said it was “due to loss of confidence in Kins’ ability to perform his duties.†Kins is the first naval officer to be fired for vaccination refusal. The unvaccinated commander was denied a religious exemption and is appealing their decision.
