Secretary of State Anthony Blinken refuses to name Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern,” despite the fact it is Africa’s most heavily populated nation and well-known for Islamic jihadists’ kidnapping and killings against Christians. Blinken’s decision is openly criticized because of the extreme number of documented killings of Nigerian Christians every year by Islamic extremists. The Biden Administration labels Nigeria as a nation with no severe religious freedom violations.
