The U.S. shared intelligence with European allies that shows an increase in Russian military presence at the Ukraine border. Ukrainian defense intelligence agency chief said that Russia could be preparing for an attack by the end of January or early February. Russian President Vladimir Putin has rejected the allegations but is pleased to see the U.S. considers this a serious threat to the region.
