Multiple reports indicate taping a students’ mask to their face is not an isolated, one-time event. A Colorado school district is investigating allegations after a photo of a student at Chinook Trail Middle School with a mask taped to her face circulated on social media. According to the student’s mother, her sixth-grade daughter was given one warning by the teacher before she taped the mask to her face. Other community members posted similar allegations of the extreme measure on social media.
