Taiwanese President Reveals Presence of American Troops

Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen remarked how the threat from China has heightened in the past year. She also revealed the U.S. has a limited amount of troops inside the Island for training purposes. “We have a wide range of cooperation with the U.S. aiming at increasing our defense capability,” Tsai told CNN. It is the first time in decades a Taiwanese president acknowledges the presence of American troops in Taiwan.
